The Big Story: Threats to Democracy
It’s been one year since insurrectionists attacked the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to undermine the Constitution and an election. Following that violent day at the Capitol, some have worked to minimize the events publicly, while others caution that the insurrection foreshadows greater threats to democracy. So how will the insurrection impact the future of America?

The Atlantic will convene our journalists to examine the domestic and global implications of the insurrection, the continued fallout, and growing threats to the American idea.

Speakers will include:
Anne Applebaum, Staff Writer, The Atlantic
Barton Gellman, Staff Writer, The Atlantic
WITH Jeffrey Goldberg, Editor in Chief, The Atlantic
